- Company profiles and galleries.
- Installer directory visibility for eligible plans.

InstallerMate is currently focused on driveway companies and driveway quote enquiries.
4. InstallerMate is not a driveway contractor
InstallerMate is a software and directory platform. We do not carry out driveway installation work, provide construction services, survey properties, inspect driveways, or guarantee the quality of any installer’s work.
Any contract for driveway work is between the homeowner and the driveway company directly. InstallerMate is not a party to that contract.
Homeowners should carry out their own checks before appointing a driveway company, including checking reviews, insurance, previous work, quotations, guarantees, terms, availability and suitability.
5. Eligibility to use InstallerMate
InstallerMate is intended for:
- Driveway companies and trade businesses using the platform for business purposes.
- Homeowners or customers looking for driveway guide prices or installer quotes.
- Adults aged 18 or over.
By using InstallerMate, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to use the platform, create an account or submit information.
6. Business accounts
To use InstallerMate as a driveway company, you may need to create an account.
You agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when creating and using your account, including your company name, contact details, service areas, surfaces offered, prices, logo, gallery images and profile information.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. You must not share your account login details with unauthorised users. You must contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
7. Account approval and access
We may refuse, suspend, limit or remove access to InstallerMate where we believe it is necessary, including where:
- Account information is false, misleading or incomplete.
- The account is being misused.
- The user breaches these Terms.
- Payment fails or a subscription is cancelled.
- The account creates security, legal, reputational or operational risk.
- The account appears to involve spam, fraud or unlawful activity.
We are not required to accept every company onto InstallerMate or into the public directory.
8. Subscription plans
InstallerMate offers paid subscription plans. Current plans may include Basic and Pro.
Plan features and prices are shown on our Pricing page. We may update our plans, features and prices from time to time.
At the time of writing:
- Basic includes the instant driveway quote widget, surface price ranges, email enquiry notifications, enquiry dashboard, basic widget styling and InstallerMate branding.
- Pro includes everything in Basic, plus directory/comparison listing, advanced widget styling, inline and button embed options, company profile and gallery, service area visibility and optional InstallerMate branding.
The exact features available to you may depend on your selected plan, account status, subscription status and platform changes.
9. Free trials
InstallerMate may offer a free trial period, such as a 30-day free trial.
The free trial allows you to test the platform before your first paid subscription payment. Unless cancelled before the end of the trial, your subscription may continue as a paid monthly plan.
We may change, withdraw or limit free trials at any time. We may also refuse a free trial where we believe it is being misused or duplicated unfairly.
10. Payments and billing
Subscription payments are processed by a third-party payment provider, such as Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our own systems.
By subscribing to InstallerMate, you authorise the payment provider to charge your chosen payment method for your selected plan and any additional services you choose.
You are responsible for ensuring your billing information and payment method remain valid and up to date.
11. Failed payments
If a payment fails, your access may be restricted, suspended or cancelled. We may retry payment collection through our payment provider.
If payment is not received, we may disable your quote widget, remove directory visibility, restrict dashboard access or cancel your subscription.
12. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription in accordance with the cancellation options provided in your account, billing portal or by contacting us.
If you cancel, your access will usually continue until the end of your current billing period or trial period, unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation does not automatically delete your account data, enquiry records or public profile information. If you want your data removed, please contact us and we will handle the request in line with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.
13. Refunds
InstallerMate is a business software subscription. Unless required by law or clearly stated otherwise, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once charged.
We may consider refund requests at our discretion, especially where there has been a technical billing error or duplicate payment.
Optional one-off services, such as widget installation, may be non-refundable once work has started or been completed.
14. Optional widget installation service
InstallerMate may offer an optional one-off widget installation service for driveway companies who want help adding the widget to their website.
This service may include adding the InstallerMate embed code to your website, placing the widget or button in a suitable location, matching the setup to your plan options as far as reasonably possible, and testing that enquiries reach your dashboard and inbox.
This service does not include a full website redesign, technical repair of your website, hosting changes, speed optimisation, SEO work, content writing, advanced custom development or ongoing website maintenance unless agreed separately in writing.
You must provide any website access, permissions, login details or instructions needed to complete the installation. We are not responsible for delays caused by missing access, incompatible websites, third-party issues or restrictions imposed by your website provider.
15. The quote widget
The InstallerMate quote widget is designed to help driveway companies capture better enquiries from website visitors.
The widget may ask customers for details such as surface type, driveway size, postcode, address, contact information, message, preferred survey date or time and uploaded images.
You are responsible for ensuring the widget is used appropriately on your website and that your website visitors are given any privacy information required by law.
16. Guide prices
Guide prices generated by InstallerMate are estimates only. They are not fixed quotes, binding offers or guarantees of final cost.
Guide prices may be based on:
- The surface selected by the customer.
- The driveway size entered by the customer.
- The price ranges set by the driveway company.
- The information available at the point of enquiry.
Final driveway quotes can vary depending on access, groundwork, drainage, excavation, waste removal, edging, preparation, finish, property layout and other factors.
Driveway companies are responsible for confirming final prices directly with customers.
17. Your pricing information
Driveway companies are responsible for setting and maintaining their own surface price ranges inside InstallerMate.
You must not use misleading, unrealistic or deceptive price ranges to attract enquiries. Your pricing should be set in good faith and should give customers a reasonable starting point, while making clear that final quotes must be confirmed.
InstallerMate is not responsible for inaccurate guide prices caused by incorrect price settings, incorrect customer input, missing information or changes in your pricing.
18. Enquiries and customer data
Quote enquiries may be sent to the relevant driveway company by email and stored inside the InstallerMate dashboard.
Driveway companies are responsible for using customer enquiry information lawfully, fairly and responsibly.
You must not misuse customer data, sell customer details, spam customers, contact customers for unrelated purposes, or use enquiry information in a way that breaches data protection law or other applicable laws.
You should respond to enquiries honestly, professionally and within a reasonable timeframe.
19. Customer uploaded images
Customers may be able to upload photos as part of a quote request. These images are intended to help the driveway company understand the project.
Driveway companies must treat uploaded customer images responsibly and must not publish, share or reuse them without permission unless there is a lawful basis to do so.
20. Installer directory
InstallerMate may operate a public installer directory at URLs such as /installers/ and /installers/company-name/.
Directory visibility may be available only on selected plans, such as Pro.
We may decide how directory pages are structured, displayed, ranked, filtered, indexed or promoted. We do not guarantee any specific position, ranking, traffic, leads, enquiries or sales from the directory.
We may remove, hide, edit or refuse directory listings where we believe the listing is inaccurate, misleading, low quality, inappropriate, inactive, non-compliant, unpaid or harmful to InstallerMate or its users.
21. Company profiles
If you create a company profile, you are responsible for ensuring all information is accurate, lawful and up to date.
This includes your company name, logo, contact information, service areas, driveway surfaces, gallery images, profile text and website links.
You must not upload or publish content that:
- You do not have permission to use.
- Infringes copyright, trade marks or other rights.
- Is false, misleading or deceptive.
- Contains unlawful, offensive or harmful material.
- Includes private personal information without permission.
- Misrepresents your business, qualifications, insurance, experience or services.
22. Gallery images and content rights
By uploading logos, images, text or other content to InstallerMate, you confirm that you have the right to use that content and allow us to display it as part of the platform.
You grant InstallerMate a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, display, resize, format and publish that content for the purpose of operating InstallerMate, displaying your profile, running the directory, providing the widget and promoting your listing.
You remain responsible for your uploaded content.
23. Homeowner quote requests
Homeowners may use InstallerMate to browse driveway companies, view guide prices and submit quote requests.
By submitting a quote request, homeowners agree that their details may be sent to the relevant driveway company so the company can respond.
Homeowners are responsible for providing accurate information and checking any final quote, contract, guarantee, terms or appointment details directly with the driveway company.
24. No guarantee of enquiries or work
InstallerMate provides software, tools and directory visibility. We do not guarantee that a driveway company will receive any particular number of enquiries, quotes, customers, bookings, jobs, revenue or website conversions.
Results may depend on your website traffic, local competition, pricing, service area, responsiveness, reputation, profile quality, customer demand and other factors outside our control.
25. No endorsement of installers
InstallerMate may display driveway companies in a directory or through public profiles. This does not mean we endorse, recommend, verify or guarantee any installer unless we clearly state otherwise.
Homeowners should make their own checks before hiring any company.
26. Acceptable use
You must not use InstallerMate:
- For unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purposes.
- To submit fake, spam or abusive enquiries.
- To scrape, copy or harvest data from the platform.
- To interfere with the security or operation of InstallerMate.
- To upload malicious code, viruses or harmful files.
- To impersonate another person or business.
- To misrepresent your services, pricing, location or qualifications.
- To infringe another person’s intellectual property rights.
- To overload, damage, attack or disrupt the platform.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe the platform is being misused.
27. Account security
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You should use a strong password and ensure only authorised people access your InstallerMate account.
You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by your failure to keep your login details secure.
28. Platform availability
We aim to keep InstallerMate available and working properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanent access.
The platform may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, hosting issues, third-party service failures, security incidents, technical problems or events outside our control.
We may update, change, suspend, remove or replace features at any time.
29. Third-party services
InstallerMate may rely on third-party services such as hosting providers, payment processors, email providers, analytics tools, security tools and other technical services.
We are not responsible for third-party service outages, errors, delays, pricing changes, policy changes or failures outside our reasonable control.
30. Website links and external content
InstallerMate may include links to third-party websites, including driveway company websites, payment pages, support pages or external resources.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, security, privacy practices or availability of third-party websites.
31. Intellectual property
InstallerMate, including its name, branding, website design, dashboard, quote widget, software, code, text, graphics, icons, layouts and platform features, is owned by us or licensed to us.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, resell, reverse engineer, scrape, clone or create derivative works from InstallerMate without our written permission.
You may use the embed code and platform features only as allowed by your plan and these Terms.
32. Feedback and suggestions
If you give us feedback, ideas or suggestions about InstallerMate, you agree that we may use them to improve the platform without owing you payment or ownership rights in those improvements.
33. Data protection
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Driveway companies using InstallerMate must also comply with their own data protection obligations, including providing appropriate privacy information to customers and using customer data lawfully.
You can read our Privacy Policy at: https://installermate.com/privacy-policy
34. Confidentiality
You may receive access to non-public information through your account, such as customer enquiries, dashboard data, pricing settings, business tools or support communications.
You must not misuse, disclose or share confidential information except where needed to use InstallerMate properly or where required by law.
35. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InstallerMate is not liable for:
- Loss of profits, sales, business or revenue.
- Loss of leads, enquiries, contracts or opportunities.
- Loss of goodwill or reputation.
- Loss of data where you have failed to keep appropriate backups.
- Indirect, consequential or special losses.
- Losses caused by inaccurate company settings or customer information.
- Losses caused by third-party websites, installers, homeowners or service providers.
- Disputes between homeowners and driveway companies.
InstallerMate is provided as a software and directory service. It is not a guarantee of business success, quote accuracy, customer quality or installer performance.
36. Liability cap for business users
If you are using InstallerMate as a business user, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with InstallerMate will be limited to the amount you paid to InstallerMate in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless the law does not allow such a limitation.
37. Homeowner disputes with installers
Any driveway work, survey, final quote, appointment, payment, guarantee, complaint or dispute between a homeowner and a driveway company is between those parties directly.
InstallerMate is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, timing, price or completion of driveway work carried out by installers.
38. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to InstallerMate if:
- You breach these Terms.
- You fail to pay subscription fees.
- You misuse the platform.
- Your account creates risk to InstallerMate, users or third parties.
- We are required to do so by law.
- We decide to discontinue part or all of the platform.
On termination, your access to paid features, widgets, directory visibility and dashboard tools may end.
39. Changes to InstallerMate
We may update, improve, change or remove parts of InstallerMate from time to time.
This may include changes to features, pricing, plans, directory structure, profile layouts, widgets, dashboard tools or technical requirements.
We will try to avoid changes that significantly reduce the value of an active paid subscription without reasonable notice, but we cannot guarantee that all features will remain available permanently.
40. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
If changes are significant, we may notify account users by email, dashboard notice or other reasonable method.
Continued use of InstallerMate after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
41. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays, failures or losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including internet outages, hosting failures, third-party service disruption, cyberattacks, power failures, legal restrictions, natural events, strikes, war, pandemics or other unexpected events.
42. Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written permission.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms as part of a business sale, restructuring, merger, acquisition or transfer of the InstallerMate platform.
43. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.
44. No waiver
If we do not enforce a right under these Terms immediately, that does not mean we give up the right to enforce it later.
45. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at signup or checkout, form the agreement between you and InstallerMate.
46. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
